1. For What It’s Worth                                                              - 200 Days and counting

My dog Snoopy, the Thief
My dog Snoopy is a food thief.  She will try to steal food whenever she can, and it only takes a second.  I made a slider-sized cheeseburger this weekend and I had left it on the built-in pull-out cutting board, and when I came back into the kitchen one half of the bun was gone. She apparently hopped up and somehow grabbed it off the cutting board. Everyone that knows Snoopy is aware she can jump vertically about 2-3 feet from a standing position and she is pretty smart and can be quite resourceful at times. Anyway, that little stunt of hers was rewarded with a prolonged time-out period spent in her carrier. She spends half of her life in there anyways, but I am not sure why I give her time outs in there. Maybe she knows it is a time out because I close and secure the gate with no treats left inside. Sometimes she tests my patience, which I am in short supply of lately.

Yonder
Yonder is an app that focuses on the adventures of the outdoor variety.  They also show some awesome photos of the great outdoors that are provided by fellow adventurers.  This weekend they had posted quite a few really nice ones that I enjoyed seeing. Some of them I took note of to where they were taken so we can hopefully visit those locations during one of our future road trips.  There really are some stunning views all throughout this great nation of ours and we are looking forward to seeing them for ourselves. There is so much out there, and the more we find, the more we are looking forward to getting out on the back roads to explore and discover some hidden gems. This blog was started to document our travels and to be able to keep in touch with our family and friends along the way. We are not too sure how long we will be on the road, it could be just a few months or even a few years.  We will have no deadlines, nor time limits to limit us in any way!  J
