1. For What It’s Worth

I heard Tuesday is the most productive day of the workweek.  With that being said, I will attempt to get some work completed today.  Not a lot of work, but some progress will be accomplished since it is Tuesday and all... And it has been written that Tuesdays will be productive, not too sure who wrote that, but let’s just leave it at that. It’s Tuesday, okay?

I’ve been recording and watching the new show “Resurrection” that airs on Sunday evenings. It is an interesting program that seems to have a lot of twists and turns so far. Every week there seems to be a new twist to the plot that leaves the viewer hanging and wondering what the hell is going on?

I have also began recording and watching another show called “Believe”, which also airs on Sunday night. It is a unique show also but is a bit predictable. It is sort of like watching Gilligan’s Island; you just know they are not going to get rescued tonight. So as there is some definite predictability, there are other aspects of the show that keep you hooked into tuning in to next week’s episode. The main character, Bo, is this sweet and lovable 10-year girl who has telekinetic powers that are astounding to say the least. We the viewers learn more about her past and the growing abilities she has each week. The relationship between her and her “bodyguard” Tate, an escaped death row prisoner, is quite unique because he is not aware that this young girl is actually his daughter. Anyways, these are two new shows that are on network TV that I actually watch and enjoy. It has been a while since I have said any kind words about network TV programming. We will keep tuning in to see where these shows are heading…

I really need to start my paperwork for retirement.  They have so many things you need to do to get this accomplished.  I think they have so many requirements to attend to just to discourage you from quitting your job and start collecting the money you have earned for the 37 plus years you have given them out of your life. There are so many things that need to be done before you can retire and there is actually nobody available to help you through this one-time process. It’s not like we do this every week or two, this is a one-time deal we have to perform and go through. Nothing like leaving you to hang out to dry and all alone to figure it all out. If they did this when you came into the job, I really don’t think many people would be working here now. Good grief, what a mess this could be!

Previous Game of How Well Do We Know Each Other?

Question: Snoopy, Michael’s dog, is it a male dog or a female dog?

Answer:  Snoopy is a female dog.  I don’t think I would ever want a male dog, always marking their territory all over the place. Female dogs have a calmer disposition I believe anyway.

Snoopy wants to remind you to, “Bark Less and Wag More!”

Until next time… Be good!
