Pennsylvania
I have been to
the Quaker State several times for work related activities, mostly in the
Philadelphia area. Lockheed-Martin has a facility in King of Prussia, PA,
that I have been to a couple of times and once I had to meet an aircraft
arriving on the ramp at the Philly airport to escort some computer &
electronic gear that we were transporting to Europe back in 1995. I
guess it may be cool to check out the Pennsylvanian Dutch (Amish) country while
we are there as long as we don’t run into any of the Amish Mafia. J
New York
Upstate New York
could be a nice place to visit. I had a USAF buddy who grew up in the
Buffalo, NY area and maybe we can track him down on our travels. I have
been to Niagara Falls back in my USAF flying days, but just for one day on the
ground. I recall saying to myself, geez, that is a sh*tload of water
going over the edge. There was this constant sound of thunder roaring in
the air making casual conversation almost impossible. It was a site to be
seen and quite impressive to just a kid from the Midwest. We never had
much like that to stand back and just take it all in. Very impressive
indeed. We also would like to go through the Adirondack mountains and
check out that area as well. This area we will need to do more research
on because I am sure there is a lot to see in upstate NY.
